Q. Which one should i choose between ford endevour and toyota fortuner?
  • I would prefer Endeavour over fortuner as both 2.2l and 3.2l engines are refined with lots of leather and piano black finish inside. With features like auto parking, terrain management system (in 4*4), front sensors, electeonic boot opening and seat folding. Better power and torque on the go. Sunroof and moonroof is only available in endeavour and not in fortuner. Better water wading height than fortuner. I myself own Endeavour 3.2l 4*4 2018 MARCH model and am extremely sarisfied with it. Service costs around 8k to 10k every 10,000 kms. Endeavour is 5 cylinder while fortunerr is 4. There is so much to say in favour of Endeavour that i might have missed few of the features. My endeavour gives an average of 6.6 in city and 7.8 on highway. Its sort of OK considering its 3.2l ....5 cylinder ...200PS and 2.2 ton!!
  • Toyota Fortuner is best choice.first thing is made by toyota and toyota cars give best resale value.Fortuner is best car for India roads and you can go offroading as well as in rainy season you can drive your car anywhere.
  • Ford endeavour is best option for 30 to 34 lakh suv and endeavour is too much better than fortuner like speed wise ,off road, panoramic sunroof, power wise and seating wise.

Q. What should I choose between petrol and diesel - Fortuner?
  • Diesel if you are buying it for long tides with family and touring. Petrol if you are buying it for occasional commute, long rides , tours
  • Petrol is too much good for speed wise and few sound of engine .Petrol engine maintenance is too low and diesel maintaice is too high
  • Diesel has more zip than the petrol version. With BS VI kicking in, petrol seems a safe bet

Q. Which variant is better 4x4 MT or 4x4 AT, and why - Fortuner?
  • Get the automatic it you have a lot of city run.It comes with pedal shifters too so you can change gears accordingly. But if there's not much of city runs in bumper to bumper traffic for you you can opt for the manual. Also if you are chauffeur driven then you can opt for the manual. One thing to be noted here that although fortuner is such a heavy vehicle, you would be surprised to see that the clutch action is so light and the gears are slick.Which is amazing for a car of this size so the 6 speed manual gearbox is brilliant and it is 2-2.5 lacs cheaper than the automatic 4×4.it also comes with an IMT(intelligent manual transmission) which happens to bring the engine speed and vehicle speed at a same speed in order to give you smooth shifts
  • 4X4 MT is better because in AT it feels bored while driving such a powerful beast without changing gears by your hands. MT model is also good and is helpful in the off-road driving and make it easy.
  • Any variant is good enough and depends on the budget and driving comfort ! Fortuner - best in class, Japanese technology, easy to maintain.
