Suzuki Two Wheelers Sales Up By 59 Per Cent In June 2017

The Japanese company sold 33,373 units in the country in June, a 58.6 per cent increase compared to the same period last year

The brand sold 33,573 units in June 2017 in the domestic market as opposed to 21,170 units in the same month last year. The company’s total sales growth, including exports, stands at 27.3 per cent increase, year on year. The brand sold 38,454 units in total, as against 30,188 units in June 2016.

The company states the increased customer network and robustness of the economy has enabled a steady overall growth this year. The brand also witnessed a consistent growth in the big bike segment over the past few months. The brand currently sells Suzuki Gixxer, Gixxer SF, Hayate EP, Access 125 and the Suzuki Let’s in the commuter market. In the big-bike segment, Suzuki sells the GSX-S1000F ABS, GSX-S1000 ABS, GSX-R1000 ABS, GSX-R1000R, V-Strom 1000, the iconic Hayabusa, and the Intruder M1800R.
