Suzuki to launch new Hayate EP in March

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd has launched the 112cc Suzuki Hayate with 2015 model year upgrades at Rs 54,601 (ex-shorwoom Delhi) ahead of the festive season.
The updated Hayate now gets some visual upgrades including body coloured side panels, new decals and a choice of five new colour options - Glass Sparkle Red with Red Graphic, Glass Sparkle Black with Blue Graphic, Pearl Mirage White, Pearl Mirage Red – Glass Sparkle Black and Pearl Moon Stone Grey.
Mechanical upgrades on the new Suzuki Hayate include a maintenance free battery, tubeless tyres and five-step adjustable rear shock absorbers.
The Suzuki Hayate is powered by a 112.8cc air-cooled, single cylinder, four-stroke engine which makes 8.4PS at 7500rpm and 8.8Nm of torque at 5500rpm. The engine is mated to a four-speed manual transmission.
The Suzuki Hayate competes against the likes of the Honda Dream Series, TVS Star City, Hero Passion XPro, Mahindra Centuro, and Bajaj Discover 100.
