One of India’s leading tyre manufacturers, Ceat, has launched its new range of Milaze Tyres specifically for the scooter segment. Prior to this, Ceat had introduced Milaze range of tyres for SUVs, compact cars and motorcycles.
The new Ceat Milaze scooter tyres are available in two sizes - 3.50-10 TT and 90/100-10 TT priced at Rs 791 and Rs 798 (Net Billing Price) respectively. These are the common sizes for popular scooter like Honda Activa, Hero Pleasure and Hero Maestro.
Although, Ceat has a range of tyres for scooters such as the Zoom, Gripp, Secura etc. the Ceat Milaze is the latest to join the scooter tyre range and boasts of having high bead strength and flatter tread profile which claims to offer improved load carrying capacity.
The new Ceat Milaze also has a higher NSD (non-skid depth) coupled with the flatter tread profile which is said to provide longer tyre life. The company also says that due to the sturdy blocks with sipes the tyres also offer good traction and uniform wear, and the deep shoulder grooves ensure greater water pumping on wet surfaces.
