Hero Xteme 250R Features Explained: Auto Expo 2025 highlights

Hero MotoCorp recently launched the Xtreme 250R at Auto Expo 2025. The motorcycle is available in a single variant and three colour options: Firestorm Red, Neon Shooting Star and Stealth Black colour scheme. The bike is priced at Rs 1,79,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and gets an extensive features list. Let’s have a look at all the features which the Hero Xtreme 250R gets in detail.

The Hero Xtreme 250R gets a brand-new negatively-lit LCD instrument console. The LCD console supports Bluetooth connectivity and e-Sim connected features. It  has a very neat and clean layout which should make it easier to read while riding the motorcycle. It also gets a USB charging port located on the tank for added convenience.

The speedometer is right at the centre of the display with the tachometer right above it. Other essential information which the display indicates is the gear-position indicator, the fuel gauge, engine-oil temperature, turn-by-turn navigation. Connectivity features display call/SMS alerts and music control.  The motorcycle also gets a drag timer and a lap timer for the enthusiasts to record their times.

The Hero Xtreme 250R gets all-LED lighting and the headlight can adjust its brightness automatically depending on the lighting conditions. For added safety, the Xtreme 250R gets dual-channel ABS which can be switched for the rear wheels and has 2 ABS modes: Road and Sports. The bike also gets stoppie control which prevents the rear wheel from lifting off the ground under hard braking.

The Hero Xtreme 250R is powered by a 249cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which makes 30PS and 25Nm, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and -assist clutch. It gets an inverted telescopic fork and a preload adjustable monoshock. The fuel tank capacity is of just 11.5 litres and the bike weighs in at just 167.7kg kerb.
