The Xtreme 250R is Hero’s latest bike to carry the ‘Xtreme’ name. It’s a proper streetfighter with a brand new 250cc liquid cooled single cylinder engine putting out 30PS and 25Nm, making it one of the most powerful 250cc bikes in India. In fact, Hero claims that the Xtreme 250R is the fastest 250cc bike in the country, with a claimed 0-100kmph time of 8.5 seconds. We rode the new Hero Xtreme 250R on some lovely winding roads around Udaipur to find out if it’s just a bike that’s quick in a straight line, or does it impress overall as a sports naked.
