After numerous teasers and test sightings, Triumph India will finally launch their flagship naked streetfighter, the Speed Triple RS, in India on January 28th, 2021. The global launch date of the motorcycle was revealed earlier and India launch will take place just two days later.
The British manufacturer has a whole bunch of changes earmarked for the 2021 Speed Triple RS. Teasers suggest that it will get a new full-LED headlamp, similar to its younger sibling, the Street Triple. A new tail light and a side-mounted exhaust are likely to be part of the updates as well.

Not only this, the 2021 Speed Triple gets a bigger 1200cc engine, mainly to meet stricter Euro-5 (BS6) norms. This will most likely bump up its peak power to about 180 PS. To help put down this power, Triumph may throw in IMU-based electronics like cornering ABS, wheelie control, slide control and auto-blipper. Expect the updated Speed Triple to come with a full-colour TFT instrument cluster, just like the one on the Street Triple RS.
We believe Triumph may price the Speed Triple RS around the Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom) mark. Once launched, the Speed Triple RS will compete against the 2021 Aprilia Tuono V4 and the 2021 BMW S 1000 R.
