The lockdown has probably got quite a few of us getting thoroughly bored at home, but something interesting is going to happen very soon. That’s because tomorrow marks the India launch of the 2020 Triumph Street Triple RS. Of course, this will be an online launch.
The new Street Triple will be the first BS6-compliant bike to be launched by Triumph. And while most BS6 updates have seen a drop in performance, we’re happy to report an extra 3Nm on the 2020 Street Triple RS. The electronics have also been revised to work with the new engine output characteristics.

The biggest giveaway on the new bike is the updated styling which sees the bug-eyed lamps given the axe, making way for a less polarising and more neutral appearance. The flyscreen, belly cowl, and seat unit have also been mildly tweaked.
The previous version of the Street Triple RS sold for Rs 11.13 lakh. As a result of the updates on the new bike, we can expect Triumph to price the 2020 Street Triple RS at around Rs 11.50 to Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
