As we all know, Royal Enfield has a strong cult following owing to the retro aura of the bikes and the brotherhood that revolves around them. And one of the key factors that bind this brotherhood is their anthem of riding together. Royal Enfield has been organising rides across the country on a regular basis in order to build and nurture a strong bond with their devotees. Staying true to their commitment towards riding, Royal Enfield is back with its sixth edition of the Tour of Bhutan.
In this edition, 15 riders will ride for more than 1300-kilometres for a duration of 12 days. The ride will be flagged off from Siliguri, West Bengal on October 15 before culminating in Guwahati, Assam on October 25.
With an average elevation of 4500m, the Tour of Bhutan will be packed with challenges. The route has been designed to allow the riders to experience various terrains that include winding mountain roads and snow-capped mountain peaks of the eastern Himalayan ranges. Riders will also get to negotiate water crossings, gravel tracks and cross narrow suspension bridges as well as straight stretches of tarmac.
The journey to Bhutan, which starts from Siliguri and passes through Thimphu, Punakha, Bumthang, Tashi Gang and Samdrup Jongkhar, will offer abundant panoramic views for any nature-loving aficionado and offer an unforgettable experience for the riders.
Bhutan, which is also the gateway to the ‘Himalayn Rhapsody’, features as a top riding destination. And rightfully so with an average of 10 curves for every kilometre of road. As entertaining and exciting as it may seem, the Tour of Bhutan will also put every rider’s skills to the test.
So, if you want to be a part of the ride and experience the beauty of Bhutan, you can register yourself on Royal Enfield’s Website.
