2016 Pune Offroad Expedition dates revealed

8Moto Events announced the dates for the 2016 edition of the Pune Offroad Expedition. The third edition of the off-road event will be held at Panshet Dam which is on the outskirts of Pune and is scheduled on July 31st, 2016. According to the organisers over 600 enthusiasts will be participating in the 2016 Pune Offroad Expedition in both motorcycle and car categories. The event gives enthusiasts to do off-road challenges and try their hands in a mud filled adventure and it isn’t a competitive event but more of a recreational one. Having said that the route will test the skill of the riders and drivers as the 50km route will have various obstacles like dodging ceaseless rain, water crossings, knee-deep slush and slippery terrain. Apart from novice participants, the Pune Offroad Expedition is expected to be attended by noted motocross rider and renowned motorcycle clubs will mark their presence. There will be also live music to calm down the nerves after a day spent mud slushing.

There is also camping facility available at the venue for participants for an extra cost along with food provisions and restroom facilities. The participation fees per contestant is Rs 600 which covers refreshments, lunch, participation certificate and event merchandise. Also all two-wheeler participants are requested to wear necessary motorcycle gear like certified full-face helmet, gloves, riding jacket/armour, riding pants or knee & elbow pads, ankle length boots.
