Apart from displaying just its regular vehicles, Nissan is using the upcoming 2016 Delhi Auto Expo to showcase some limited edition models as well as reiterating its affinity for the sport of cricket. The Nissan booth will feature an interactive zone for fans and lovers of the sport, where they will be able to witness some cricketing action while at the Expo.
Nissan will unveil two ICC World Twenty20 2016-themed limited editions of the Terrano and Micra at the Expo, along with a Terrano Special Version and the sports version of Sunny. While details about this fleet of special editions will be revealed only once the Expo opens its doors, we can safely hazard that these will be paint and livery jobs at the most, and the mechanicals will almost definitely remain unchanged as on the standard versions.
Apart from cars and a love for cricket, Nissan will also showcase its EPORO robots which are designed to travel in a group that mimics the behavioral patterns of a school of fish in avoiding obstacles without colliding with each other. The EPORO technology was created as part of Nissan’s development of autonomous driving cars.
Nissan also promises that fans and followers of its brand will have opportunities to participate in a host of exciting contests, with prizes to be won and exclusive privileges to be earned.
