TVS has launched the iQube “Celebration Edition” to commemorate India’s 78th Independence Day. The Celebration Edition is only available for the iQube 3.4kWh and iQube S variants, limited to 1,000 units for each variant.
The TVS iQube Celebration Edition gets a dual-tone copper and black paint scheme. The scooter also features a tricolour sticker on the left side of the flyscreen that represents the colours of the Indian National Flag. It also has a “#CelebrationEdition” decal on the front apron.
The TVS iQube Celebration Editions for both variants are available at no extra cost and are priced the same as before. The iQube 3.4 kWh 'Celebration Edition' has been priced at Rs 1,19,628, while the iQube S 'Celebration Edition' costs Rs 1,29,420 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Bookings for the Celebration Edition will start on August 15, 2024, with the deliveries starting on August 26, 2024.
Apart from the visual updates, the electric scooter remains unchanged. It is equipped with the same 3kW motor that produces a peak power of 4.4kW. The 3.4kWh and S variants have a top speed of 78kmph. Both variants offer a range of 100km on a single charge. Using a 650W charger, the scooter charges from 0 percent to 80 percent in about 4 hours 30 minutes.
The TVS iQube competes against the other electric scooters in the Indian market, including the Ampere Nexus, Ather 450S, Ather 450X, Hero Vida V1, Ola S1 Pro, Ola S1 Air, Bajaj Chetak, and Ather Rizta.
