December usually brings year-end discounts and mellow weekends, but this time, it’s also bringing three very interesting motorcycles. With India Bike Week as the launchpad for most of them, the spotlight is firmly on the mid-size segment — from a brand-new GS to a Husqvarna-inspired ADV and the comeback of an Italian brand. Here’s what’s worth tracking:
BMW Motorrad will be launching the F 450 GS at India Bike Week on December 19-20, right after its global reveal at EICMA 2025. This one is significant not just because it’s the newest “baby GS”, but because production has already begun at TVS’ Hosur plant.

The BMW F 450 GS uses an all-new 420cc parallel-twin motor making 47.6PS and 43Nm, and comes equipped with a bidirectional quickshifter. The GS Trophy variant also gets an easy-ride-clutch, which should make low-speed or technical sections easier to manage — at least on paper. At 178kg kerb, it’s lighter than several ADVs in this class, including the KTM 390 Adventure.
Dealers have already started taking unofficial bookings for Rs 10,000-20,000, and the bike is expected be priced at around Rs 4.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Being an all-new platform, this BMW motorcycle will likely influence the brand’s entire mid-size lineup going forward.
The Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr will break cover in India in December at India Bike Week. It will arrive via MotoHaus as a CKD product and will slot above the 500X and 500XC in Brixton’s lineup.
And yes, let’s address the obvious — the Storr’s design instantly reminds you of the bigger Husqvarna Norden 901. The rounded bodywork, tall stance, and overall silhouette give it that familiar Scandinavian ADV vibe, which is bound to catch attention in the 500cc space.

Underneath the styling, the Storr runs a 486cc twin-cylinder engine (47.6PS, 43Nm) paired with a six-speed gearbox. There’s no quickshifter or slipper clutch here, but it compensates with solid underpinnings: long-travel KYB suspension, 19/17-inch spoked wheels with tubeless tyres, and J.Juan brakes.
Once launched, it’ll go up against the BMW F 450 GS, Honda NX500, Benelli TRK 502X, and single-cylinder ADVs like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the KTM 390 Adventure. And like most new brands, Brixton’s biggest challenge will be visibility and after-sales reach as much as pricing.
FB Mondial is making a comeback to India, and its first model this time around is the Piega 452. The bike will be launched at India Bike Week in December, with MotoHaus handling operations for the brand. Unlike the retro-flavoured HPS 300 that Mondial launched back in 2018, the FB Mondial Piega 452 is a full-blown modern streetfighter.

Power comes from a 449.5cc parallel-twin producing 47.5PS and 39Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox. But its biggest talking point is the single-sided swingarm — something we usually see on far larger and more premium machines. The rest of the hardware stays conventional with an inverted fork, monoshock, and 17-inch alloys wrapped in Pirelli Angel GT tyres.
The Piega weighs 176kg, has an 820mm seat height, and carries a 10-litre fuel tank, which makes it more of a city-focused motorcycle than a long-distance machine. Expected pricing is around Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom), and if Mondial sticks close to that figure, the Piega could become one of the most affordable single-sided-swingarm bikes in the country and will go up against another naked Italian, the Aprilia Tuono 457.

We will be reporting live from the launch events of all these bikes, so stay tuned!
