Quick Highlights
Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr ADV will be launched in India in December 2025, as confirmed by the brand. It could most likely happen at India Bike Week, which will happen on December 12 and 13. It could be positioned slightly above the Brixton Crossfire 500X and the Brixton Crossfire 500XC. This middleweight ADV will come to India via MotoHaus, a Kolhapur-based partner for Brixton.
While the Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr seems to have a massive road presence, it also boasts the brawn to match. It is powered by a 486cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine that produces 47.6PS and 43Nm. It’s got a six-speed gearbox but without any fancy doodads like a quickshifter and a slipper clutch. Bummer.

Coming to underpinnings, it’s got a 320mm disc brake at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear, both with J Juan calipers and ABS. It has traction control as well. However, the juiciest bits of the bike have to be its wheels and tyres – a 19-inch spoked at the front and a 17-inch spoked at the rear, both with tubeless tyres. Suspension comes from KYB – an inverted fork with 180mm wheel travel, and a monoshock with 175mm wheel travel.
With that, the Storr weighs 209kg kerb, has a rather tall 839mm seat height, and a 16-litre fuel tank. Brixton claims the tank is good for a range of 380km, with its claimed mileage of 23.8kmpl.

Internationally, the Storr has all-LED lights, with auxilliary lights, a tank bag, and a tail rack. It has a huge 7-inch vertical TFT console, but the lack of smartphone connectivity is quite saddening. And that’s about it; no electronic aids either. You can have it in two colours – green, and black – pretty straightforward. We expect it to come to India without any major changes.
When launched, it will rival the Honda NX500 and the Benelli TRK 502X. However, it will also go up against single-cylinder bikes like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, and the KTM 390 Adventure. It will also rival the CFMoto 450MT, however the 450's launch has been delayed, which gives the Storr an advantage.

The Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr looks quite a capable bike for some long-distance riding as well as for some fun in the dirt. With a mini-Norden 901-esque look, it also manages to tickle neurons in the retro fans. However, its success will come down to its pricing – it has to be lucrative. On that end, MotoHaus will bring in the ADV via the CKD (completely knocked down) route, which should help in keeping the pricing in check.
While it has all the hardware you would expect, it isn't as tech-savvy as the modern mid-capacity ADVs that are loaded with electronic riding aids. Brixton is also a fairly new brand in India that’s working on building up its image and brand affinity. If it manages to create enough brand awareness and has a good network of dealerships and service centers, then it will pose a serious threat to other 500cc ADVs in India, which are still niche as far as the sales numbers go.
