Honda is now 25 years old in India, and to celebrate its birthday, it has made the most predictable thing ever - launch special Anniversary Editions of the Activa 110, Activa 125, and SP125. It makes sense as the Activa range is the bread and butter for Honda, but the brand has thrown in the SP125 as well, for good measure. Here’s all you need to know about the anniversary edition two-wheelers: 

Honda Activa Anniversary Colour Schemes

Honda Activa 110 & 125

The three Anniversary Editions are only available in the DLX variant and come in two paint options – Pearl Siren Blue and Matte Steel Black Metallic.

The Activa 110 and Activa 125 get anniversary decals on the body panels, a sleek smoked chrome strip up front, and a 25-year logo on the front panel. The alloy wheels are finished in a Pyrite Brown Metallic shade, adding a bit of bling.

The Activa 110 also gets a brown or black seat (depending on the colour), while the Activa 125 only gets an all-black seat. 

The SP125 also gets the same graphics and Pyrite Brown alloy wheels, along with the 25-year logo on its fuel tank. All models come equipped with a full LED headlight, a 4.2-inch TFT console, and a USB Type-C charging port as the regular DLX variant.

A Bit More Expensive

That said, the new colours do come at a cost. The anniversary editions are more expensive by Rs 1,000 over the regular DLX variant.

Not The First Time

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Honda has released an Anniversary Edition for the Activa. Five years ago, on its 20th anniversary, the scooter also got a special colour scheme – and honestly, that one looked a lot better. Back then, the stickering was subtle and elegant, unlike the bold, “in your face” graphics on the 25th anniversary version. The 20th anniversary model stayed on sale for quite a while, so you can expect the same with this one too. We also feel Honda should’ve done something similar for the Shine 125 as that has been single-handedly carrying the brand for years in terms of sales, at least as far as motorcycles are concerned.
