The Splendor Plus XTEC, a variant of Hero MotoCorp's popular Splendor series, comes with several updates aimed at enhancing rider experience. Here are key aspects of the bike based on its review:1. **Design and Features**: The XTEC version retains the classic design of the Splendor but adds modern touches, such as a digital-analog instrument cluster, LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lights), and new graphics. It features a sleek and stylish look while maintaining the simplicity and comfort that the Splendor is known for.2. **Performance**: It is powered by a 97.2cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that offers smooth performance suitable for daily commuting. The engine delivers adequate power and good fuel efficiency, which is a hallmark of the Splendor series.3. **Comfort and Ride Quality**: The Splendor Plus XTEC continues to offer a comfortable ride with its well-cushioned seats and a well-tuned suspension system. It is designed to handle city roads and occasional longer rides with ease.4. **Technology and Features**: The inclusion of a digital-analog instrument cluster is a significant upgrade, providing more detailed information compared to the traditional analog meters. Nice Bike. Best mileage for daily use

1.Real driving experience splendor chalane mein bahut hi light aur easy hai. City ke traffic mein ise kahin se bhi nikalna bahut aasaan hota hai. Iska engine noise bahut kam hai aur gear shifting kaafi smooth hai. Ye bike fast bhagane ke liye nahi, Balki sukoon se ek jagah se doosri jagah jaane ke liye bani hai.2.Mileage (sabse bada plus point)actual mileage: city mein aaram se 60-65 kmpl mil jati hai.Agar aap highway par 40-50 km/h ki constant speed par chalate hain, Toh ye 70 kmpl tak bhi touch kar leti hai.Petrol ke badhte daam mein ye sabse badi bachat hai. 3.Comfort & performance comfort: iski seat lambi aur flat hai, Jispe do log aaram se baith sakte hain. Iska suspension normal potholes (gaddhon) ko acche se handle kar leta hai. Performance: 97.2cc ka engine hai, Toh pick-up decent hai.60 km/h tak vibration nahi hoti, Lekin usse upar jaane par thodi thar-tharahat feel hoti hai. 4.Service experience hero ka service network bahut bada hai. Ek normal service ka kharcha ₹800 se ₹1200 ke beech aata hai, Jo pocket par bilkul bhari nahi padta. Service centers par parts hamesha available rehte hain. Final verdict: agar aap ek aisi bike dhoond rahe hain jo kam kharche mein saalo-saal chale, Toh splendor1se behtar koi option nahi hai. Ye “middle-class family” ki asli hero hai.

The Timeless Mileage King Meets Modern

The Hero Splendor Plus XTEC is a masterclass in practical commuting, successfully blending its legendary reputation for reliability with modern-day essentials. The driving experience is defined by its light 112 kg kerb weight, which makes it incredibly agile and easy to flick through congested city lanes. Comfort is a highlight for daily office runs, thanks to a well-padded seat and an upright riding posture that reduces back strain, though the suspension can feel a bit stiff over sharp potholes. Performance-wise, the 97.2cc engine is a refined workhorse that remains silent at low speeds, though vibrations become noticeable once you cross the 165 km/h mark. Its greatest strength is undeniably the mileage, consistently delivering 65–70 km/l in real-world conditions. The XTEC upgrade adds a layer of sophistication with a fully digital console, Bluetooth alerts, and a USB charger, which are rare luxuries in this segment. While the build quality is rugged enough1for rural roads, some owners have noted minor rusting on chrome parts if not maintained. Hero’s after-sales service remains its biggest competitive advantage, offering the most affordable spare parts and a vast network that ensures a hassle-free ownership experience for years.

Hey I use splendor for my daily commute and also for long trips of approx 300km it goes easily but have two stop once in summers because of high engine temperature.I think it's a good option for people who are opting for a good budget bike. I think it's maintenance cost is very low you can easily get a service under 600 at a service centre and it's parts are also in budget rather then other bikes. I may say that all hero bikes have this feature. I would also say that this bike doesn't have that much comfortable seats but ok for a normal rider and it's mileage is approx 70km per liter of petrol. It's in budget and good for normal riders. There are some demerits also that this bike comes at a budget price so it's engine is only 97 cc and also it's very light weight so on bad roads it won't help you that much and its build quality is ok, it's not to Good compared to other. So, at last i would say If you want a good mileage under budget bike then it's very good and now it also have smart features like smart meter and all.
