Quick News Highlights:
- The Hero Karizma XMR with inverted fork has been showcased at EICMA 2024
- It will most likely be the new top-end variant of the motorcycle
- It is expected to be launched in January 2025
Hero MotoCorp unveiled the new Karizma XMR 250 at EICMA 2024 last week. Alongside it, the Karizma XMR 210 was also showcased with an inverted fork at the motor show.

The inverted fork seen on the Karizma XMR has a gold-coloured finish on it and looks quite premium. Even though an inverted fork is a more sophisticated hardware compared to a telescopic fork, the difference this one makes can be found out only when we get to ride it. But, it will surely improve the premiumness quotient of the motorcycle amongst its potential buyers. Also spotted is a new silver-coloured paintjob with yellow stripes on the blacked-out portion of the fuel tank and it suits the bike pretty well.

The rest of the bike will remain unchanged and will be powered by the same 210cc, DOHC 4-valve, liquid-cooled engine producing 25.5PS at 9,250rpm and 20.4Nm at 7,250rpm. The motorcycle has a 300mm front disc brake and a 230mm rear disc brake (both petal units) with dual-channel ABS as standard. On the features front, it has an LCD instrument console with turn-by-turn navigation and an illuminated switchgear.
The Karizma XMR 210 with the inverted fork is likely to be the new top-end variant of the motorcycle and is expected to fetch a premium of about Rs 10,000 over the Rs 1,79,900 (ex-showroom Delhi) price tag. The new variant could make its India-debut at Hero World in January 2025, wherein we could know more about its launch details and other specifications.
