Royal Enfield has added a new colour option to its first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6. The new shade is called Parachute White, and it gives the electric bike a cleaner, more distinctive appearance without making any changes to its mechanicals or equipment. Here’s everything you need to know.

A More Premium Colour Option

The biggest update to the Flying Flea C6 is the new Parachute White colour. It features white body panels, which are contrasted by a black battery casing, motor housing and wheels. Adding more character to the design are blue highlights on the side panels, along with a blue seat and matching handlebar grips. This combination gives the electric motorcycle a more premium and contemporary appearance while retaining its retro-inspired design. With the addition of Parachute White, the Flying Flea C6 is now available in three colours: Parachute White, Flea Green and Storm Black.

What Remains Unchanged

Apart from the new colour, the Flying Flea C6 remains mechanically unchanged. It continues to use a 3.91 kWh battery paired with a 15.4 kW electric motor. The setup delivers a claimed IDC range of 154 km and a top speed of 115 kmph. Using the onboard charger, the battery can be charged from 0 to 100 per cent in 2 hours and 16 minutes. The e-bike gets a girder-style front fork and a monoshock at the rear. It rides on 19-inch wheels at both ends and gets disc brakes on both wheels.

The Flying Flea C6 continues with a 3.5-inch circular TFT instrument console featuring Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and call and SMS alerts. Safety equipment includes dual-channel ABS and traction control, adding to the bike’s modern electric motorcycle package.

The Parachute White shade adds a fresh and premium touch to the Flying Flea C6, and the contrasting blue and black elements make the colour combination quite eye-catching. More importantly, the new shade comes without any price increase, with the e-bike continuing to be priced at Rs 2,79,000 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).

For now, the Flying Flea C6 is available at only one dealership in Bengaluru. However, Royal Enfield is expected to expand its availability to more Indian cities soon.
