BREAKING: Jawa 42 Bobber Red Sheen Colour Launched At Rs 2,29,500

The Red Sheen colour variant costs the same as the Black Mirror variant

Jawa has launched a new colour variant of the Jawa 42 Bobber, called Red Sheen, at Rs 2,29,500 (ex-showroom Delhi) and it made its debut at the All You Can Street Mumbai 2024 festival, which is an event with fashion, music, and art as the themes. It is now one of the two top-end variants of the 42 Bobber, the other being the Black Mirror variant. Here are the prices of all the variants of the bobber:

Just like the Black Mirror colour variant, the Red Sheen gets a flashy chrome fuel tank with a red colour at the bottom part of the fuel tank as opposed to the black shade in the Black Mirror. It also gets premium-looking diamond-cut alloy wheels. 

Other than the colour change, the rest of the bike is unchanged from the Black Mirror variant. It is powered by the same 334cc, liquid-cooled engine delivering 29.9PS and 30Nm. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with assist and slip clutch. The suspension setup consists of a telescopic fork and a gas-charged monoshock. Braking duties are taken care of by a 280mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS as standard. We have ridden the Black Mirror variant and here are our thoughts on the bike.

Features on the bike include all-LED lighting and a circular LCD instrument console that shows speedometer, odometer, trip meter and other regular readouts. The only other affordable bobber on sale in India is the Jawa Perak. The 42 Bobber will also compete with the upcoming Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber, which could also be called the Shotgun 350.
