Honda has also launched e-clutch variants of the XL750 Transalp and the CB750 Hornet

Honda has launched four new big bikes in India. The CB750 Hornet and the XL750 Transalp now get an E-Clutch, and the Gold Wing gets a new shade. The CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP remains the company's flagship sportbike in India. Here are all the details.

CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP

Rs 33,50,000 (ex-showroom, Gurugram)

The Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP makes a comeback in India. It is powered by a fire-breathing 1000cc inline-four engine making 217PS and 113Nm. It brings top-of-the-line components such as Ohlins Smart-EC 3.0 suspension, Brembo Stylema R calipers, along with 330mm dual front discs, and an Akrapovic titanium exhaust. It gets a 5-inch TFT display as well. The return of the Fireblade should make a lot of Honda enthusiasts happy. The brand again has a rival for the likes of the BMW S 1000 RR, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R (though it's so much more affordable), and the Ducati Panigale V4.  This now only leaves out Suzuki from being part of the litre-class sportbike segment in India, which we hope happens soon.

Honda Gold Wing

Rs 44,30,000 (ex-showroom, Gurugram)

Goldwing

For 2026, the Honda Gold Wing gets a new Gun Metal Black Metallic shade. It is powered by a massive 1,833cc, 6-cylinder engine paired with Honda's 7-speed DCT gearbox. It is built for long-distance touring with features like an electronically adjustable windscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and even an airbag for rider safety. The Gold Wing has now become almost Rs 1.5 lakh more expensive, but doesn't get anything new -- not that it drastically affects someone who can afford a Rs 44 lakh bike. That said, it is one of the most comfortable, premium tourers in the country, along with the BMW K 1600 GTL.

CB750 Hornet E-Clutch

Rs 10,49,000 (ex-showroom, Gurugram)

CB750 Hornet

The CB750 Hornet is Honda's middleweight street naked bike. It is powered by a 755cc parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crankshaft, making 91.7PS and 75Nm. Honda has updated the bike with an e-clutch system, helping you shift gears without using the clutch. The 2026 model is about Rs 1.26 lakh more expensive than the non-e-clutch variant. That's a lot of money for the convenience of not having to use the clutch lever every time you want to shift. The bike still gets a 41mm Showa USD fork and twin 296mm front discs. It has a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity. The rider aids include dual-channel ABS, traction control, wheelie control, and engine brake control. The CB750 rivals bikes like the Kawasaki Z900 and the Triumph Street Triple 765.

XL750 Transalp E-Clutch

Rs 13,20,000 (ex-showroom, Gurugram)

XL750 Transalp

The XL750 Transalp is Honda's middleweight ADV built for touring. It is powered by the same 755cc engine as the CB750 Hornet, making 91.7PS and 75Nm, but now gets the e-clutch system. It gets a Showa SFF-CA USD front fork along with twin 296mm front discs. It is equipped with a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, and the bike also gets a special Gravel ride mode for off-road riding. This too has a price hike of Rs 1.38 lakh, for just the e-clutch. While the system still needs manual shifting, it's a step between a completely manual gear box that need manual clutch action, and a DCT on the Africa Twin. 

The Honda XL750 Transalp rivals bikes like the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE, and the Triumph Tiger 900. 

ZigSays

The biggest talking point amongst these is the e-clutch system on the two bikes. While actual use-case of the tech can be a topic of a long discussion, the tech is gaining traction in the country. The BMW F 450 GS and the Honda NX500 have brought it to the premium mid-entry-level segment. Honda bringing in two more models with it could be a sign of increasing consumer interest in the tech. Also, gives the owners bragging rights and convenience. 

That said, Honda has been known to bring in limited numbers of its big bikes in India, as we have seen earlier. If you are keen on getting your hands on one of these, we would suggest getting in touch with your nearest Honda Big Wing dealer, lest these bikes are sold out.
