Honda has launched the 2025 Shine 100 in India at Rs 68,767 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike now gets an OBD-2B compliant engine, and now costs Rs 1,867 more.

The 2025 Honda Shine 100 is powered by a OBD-2B compliant 98.98cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine which outputs 7.3PS and 8.04Nm. As part of the OBD-2B compliance, the bike now has more sensors on board which collect vehicle diagnostic data, including things like engine temperature, fuel-air ratio, fuel quality, engine emission sensors, among others. This will help in making the bike a lot more eco-friendly in the long run. Other than this, the bike remains largely unchanged.

The Shine 100 is the most affordable Honda bike in India. It was meant to be Honda’s answer to the Hero Splendor Plus in India.  It is currently offered in 5 colour schemes: Black with Orange (new), Black with Gray, Black with Green, Black with Red, and Black with Blue.

The Honda Shine 100 has a telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers. The bike rolls on 17-inch wheels, and braking duties are taken care of by a 130mm front and 110mm rear drum. In terms of features, it has a fairly simple dual-pod analogue instrument console with a speedometer and a fuel gauge. 

Honda has been working on updating their two-wheeler lineup in India to meet OBD-2B norms, and the update to the Shine 100 is just part of the overall process. The brand has in the past updated a lot of their commuter models and even their 350cc lineup as well.
