Upcoming Tata Punch EV spied once again with LED headlights similar to the Nexon EV.
It will feature EV-specific design elements like a redesigned grille and modified bumpers.
Should come with a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a fully digital driver’s display.
All these changes preview the updates that will be made to the standard Punch.
The Punch EV will be offered in two variants – Medium Range and Long Range – with a range of up to 325 km.
Tata Motors is extensively testing its next EV, the Punch EV, and we have got our hands on the latest spy shots. These images show more design similarities with the recently launched 2023 Nexon EV facelift. Take a look at the latest pictures.

Although we couldn't see the entire front of this test mule clearly, it showcases updated LED DRLs, likely to be full-width units, and get a sequential function probably inspired by the 2023 Nexon EV. Additionally, it will get other design updates such as a redesigned grille, LED headlights (as snapped earlier) and modified bumpers. These design alterations preview at the updates that will be made to the Punch facelift.

At the rear, the Punch EV is expected to feature connected LED taillights, as seen in other Tata models. The side profile of this test mule was not clearly visible, but we observed the new 5-spoke alloy wheels in the earlier spy images.

Inside you can expect possible updates in the form of larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a new two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo as seen in previous spy shots. Additional upgrades include an electronic parking brake with auto-hold functionality and a gear selector equipped with an integrated display.

As for the features, the Punch EV should come equipped with a fully digital driver’s display, paddle shifters, automatic climate control, a wireless phone charger, and a sunroof. On the safety front, it is expected to come with up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and a rear parking camera with sensors.

The technical specifications of the Punch EV are not out yet but it will be positioned between the Tigor EV and Nexon EV and will be offered with two powertrain choices: Medium Range and Long Range. The former is expected to use the Tigor EV’s powertrain, while the latter is expected to get the Nexon EV’s Medium Range powertrain. Take a look at the expected specifications here:
