  • Q. Will there be a hike in car price in January. I booked a sonet which has a waiting period of 2 months (expected delivery time dec). So I opted for a 2021 model to be delivered in late january 2021.But now confused if the price will increase in January 2021.Please suggest.Thank you.

    As you know there is a long waiting list of KIA motors cars, some of the variants have 12-14 weeks of waiting time. so whether you book it now or in the month of january you have to pay the cost on the delivery date or at the time of your allotment letter. As far as concern your concern regarding incremental price KIA, as well as other manufactures, have a long history of the price hike on their popular model as the cost of purchase of raw material increases. You can even check the price of steal in last 6 month which has been increased significantly and that's one component only.

    Kia Motors has launched the Sonet sub-4 metre SUV in India at a price range between Rs 6.71 lakh to Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The prices are likely to go up since these are the introductory prices, however, there is official announcement available from the brand side as of now.     With another new year upon us, here comes the imminent price hike. It’s just about that time when the announcements come rolling in, or you can step right into one in a few weeks time. Wef 1st January 2021, Kia Sonet, and Seltos price will be increased substantially. Prices of Carnival MPV will not be increased and will be same as today.
