  • Q. I am planning to buy an SUV. Currently i am contemplating between Creta and Jeep. When I see online reviews, I see mixed reviews. Some say amazing things about Jeep ride quality and comfort while others have faced quality issues like clutch burning, smoke from engine etc. there is also insecurity around after sales service. Can you please give genuine advise as to weather I should buy this or not - Compass?

    A person who really understands RIDE AND HANDLING will not go for any of these. Compass was supposed to be a great handler but owing to Indian Engineers lack of knowledge , inept Indian parts sourcing it has ended up being a very ordinary car/SUV. Of course it is very beautiful and thoughtfully conceived but IT IS MORE STYLE THAN SUBSTANCE. Creta has nothing much to offer except a good and peppy engine.

    Compass and Creta belong to different segments. You should compare Hyundai Tucson and Compass.I have not faced any problem in my Compass so far.
