- Selecting the right fuel type depends on your utility and the average running of the car. If you drive less than 50km in a day then we recommend you to go with a petrol car as they are easy to maintain, have a longer life span and they cost less initially than the diesel car. On the other hand, diesel cars are preferred if the average daily run is more than 50km which makes it a feasible purchase. Diesel cars are more fuel-efficient and provide more torque, therefore, are preferred for a person who drives more than 50km. Whereas, petrol engine has a low service cost, more life span, generally have a well-controlled NVH level and are cheaper in cost than the diesel engines. You may opt for Hyundai Creta as Creta is clearly an impressive compact SUV. With a more sophisticated ride, comfort, and features list, the Creta sure makes a strong case for itself. Moreover, The Creta has a more sophisticated feeling to it now and the ride is more comfortable and polished than before. In the city, over speed breakers and bigger bumps, the suspension soaks up the impacts in a quiet and unflustered fashion. Overall, with this new spacious, quiet, and comfortable cabin, you get a feeling that the Creta has grown up quite a lot. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details. Furthermore, there are other ample SUV options available i.e. Mahindra Thar, Kia Seltos, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, MG Hector, etc. Choosing one will depend on several factors such as budget, fuel type, brand preference, seating capacity, specific feature requirements, etc. Click on the given link and apply filters in order to check out [new cars@https://www.zigwheels.com/new_car_search.php?bybodytype=suv
- The Compass comes with a 163PS 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. If you drive with a light foot; you shouldn't have any complaints. But this turbo petrol isn't as punchy as the diesel in the way it drives. In terms of refinement, it isn't as smooth or quiet as other turbo petrols we've driven; it's a bit clattery and noisy. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- The diesel engine in Jeep Compass offers good performance and continues to perform excellently under the 3,000rpm mark. You never really feel the need to rev it past that as it offers good bottom end and mid-range grunt. And if you do, it revs all the way to the 4600rpm red line without a fuss. It however does make a racket when you do so. The 9-speed auto gearbox in our test car also continued to perform just like before. Overall though, this powertrain combo works quite well in the city and out on the highway as well.
- For this, we would suggest you to have a word with the CSD staff or walk into the nearest dealership as they will be the better person to assist you. You can click on the following link to see the details of the nearest service center and selecting your city accordingly - Service Center.
- Jeep Compass is offered in five variant trims: Sport Plus, Longitude Option, Limited Plus and Trailhawk. These variants are priced in the range of Rs. 16.49 - 24.99 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). You may click on the link for an estimated on-road price and select your city accordingly.
- You may have the rear parking camera and fog lamps installed in the lower variants of Jeep Compass. Also, the 16-inch wheels can be replaced with 17-inch wheels for better handling and control. However, for exact charges and availability of the parts, we'd suggest you to get in touch with the nearest authorized service center as they would be able to assist you better. Follow the link and select your desired city for service centers.
- In my opinion, better to go for a variant with the features than tinkering with after-market mods. Beware of voiding the warranty!
