    Alto can not be compared with Santro as alto is driven by 800cc engine with 48HP power and Santro by 1100cc engine which can deliver 68HP power Alto has remained as a popular choice since inception and an economical family car .with simple budgets. Santro is built on the Grand i10’s platform, giving it a wheelbase of 2400mm Santro can be compared with Celerio X or Ignus. Even Not WagonR. Now Santro is relaunched after lot time as it loose out its market some time ago. Alto is frugal in fuel efficiency and low on maintenance. Hope it clear .Alto800 the car of Entry level segment.

    By the way Santro is better , but alto's maintenance cost is low and have good re-sale value
