After owning the Jeep Compass for over a year, I have come to appreciate its blend of off road prowess and city style comfort. It is a vehicle that screams adventure, yet does not shy away from the urban landscape. The 2.0 liter Multijet diesel engine is a powerhouse, offering 170 horsepower, easily handling both highways and rugged paths with a smooth 9 speed automatic transmission. The fuel efficiency, however is where I felt the pinch averaging about 14-16 kmpl, which is little bit less than ideal for daily commutes in India.

It offers comfortable seating for five passengers in a modern and functional cabin which is perfect for my family . While not the most luxurious in its class, the interior boasts quality materials. While talking about its safety it has upto seven airbags. The ride quality is comfortable and well-suited for road conditions. Its luggage space is also decent not that much to store our weekend trips accessories .
