Renault Kwid EV Specifications

The next-gen Renault Kwid (Dacia Spring EV) sold in the United Kingdom is only offered in an all-electric variant globally. It provides a 26.8 kWh battery pack and offers the choice between a 45 PS and 65 PS electric motor variant. Both of these options claim a WLTP range of around 220 km (still under certification). We expect Renault to continue with the 1-litre 3 cylinder engine In India for the updated Kwid, alongside introducing the car in an all-electric form post the introduction of the ICE variant.

Renault Kwid EV Features

Renault’s sister brand Dacia has been generous with the addition of new features in the Spring EV, specially the safety features that are really desired by the customer of today. The next-gen Dacia Spring EV (Kwid) looks significantly different from the current model. Gone are the chunky-looking headlight housings, replaced by sleeker ones. Additionally, it showcases an elegant-looking grille that merges onto the Y-shaped LED DRLs, reminiscent of the 2025 Duster. It is equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a7-inch digital driver’s display, connected car tech, Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto connectivity, power windows, steering-mounted controls, Type-C USB charging ports, cruise control, and a 12V power socket. The Kwid EV also boasts vehicle-to-load charging. In terms of the safety features, it includes multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, reverse camera with parking sensors, and select ADAS features such as lane keep assist and traffic sign recognition.
