Another day, another test mule of an upcoming Royal Enfield bike has been spotted. This time it’s the brand’s bobber, the Shotgun 650 that’s been seen and it looks production-ready. Interestingly though, the mule was seen with a pillion seat, something that Royal Enfield could likely offer as an optional accessory.

Another thing that these spy shots reveal is the fact that the Shotgun 650 will have pea shooter-styled exhausts. They’re also positioned slightly upwards, for an upswept kind of a look. The bike’s handlebars seem to be wider and slightly lower than the Super Meteor 650’s, giving it a bit of a dragster, more sporty feel.

Its heart will be the 648cc parallel-twin engine from the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650, making 47.6PS and 52Nm. The Shotgun 650 is likely to go on sale later this year and is expected to carry a price tag of Rs 3.15 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Its closest rival will be the Kawasaki Vulcan S.
