Royal Enfield has launched the Shotgun 650 Rough Crafts, which is a highly exclusive, factory-custom motorcycle. With a global production run capped at just 100 units, a mere 25 units are allocated for the Indian market. Registrations for booking slots are now open on the company’s official website and app, with formal bookings set to commence on July 30.

This limited-edition model is the result of a partnership with Rough Crafts Motorcycles, a well-known custom bike builder based in Taiwan. The design is based on the Royal Enfield Caliber Royale custom motorcycle, which was first showcased at Motoverse 2025. The collaboration brings Rough Crafts' distinct custom design philosophy to a production Royal Enfield model, offering a unique proposition straight from the factory.

The scarcity of the Shotgun 650 Rough Crafts is its main draw for collectors and enthusiasts. Of the 100 units being produced for the entire world, India receives an allocation of 25 bikes. To underscore its exclusivity, each motorcycle will be individually numbered, confirming its place in the limited production series. This small volume and unique numbering position the bike as a collectible item rather than a standard production variant.

The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Rough Crafts is priced at Rs 5.75 lakh (ex-showroom), making it Rs 1.74 lakh more expensive than the standard bike. Acquiring one involves a two-stage process. Interested buyers must first register for a booking slot, which is currently open. Following this registration, the official booking window will open on July 30. The final on-road price will be higher. Specific details on what custom parts or performance changes differentiate it from the standard Shotgun 650 have not been disclosed.

Rough Crafts Motorcycles brings its credibility from the international custom scene to this project. The Taiwanese firm is known for its distinctive and often aggressive design language on custom builds. This collaboration allows Royal Enfield to offer a motorcycle with an established custom builder's pedigree, appealing to buyers who value bespoke design and exclusivity in their machines.
