The spy shot reveals interesting details of the upcoming Super Meteor 650

A new set of spy shots of the upcoming Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 has surfaced on the internet. The test mule looked production-ready and didn’t flaunt heavy camouflage, further cementing the fact that the new cruiser could see an EICMA 2022 debut before being presented at the RIdermania 2022 this month.

The test mule was seen sporting CEAT Zoom Cruze tyres, which are also seen on the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650. Although it is not clear whether this bike gets a 19-inch or an 18-inch alloy at the front, it could be the former, with the tyre manufacturer making 19-inch tyres especially for the Super Meteor and later even the Shotgun 650.

Another interesting thing is the Tripper navigation pod seen on this mule, which makes the Super Meteor 650 the only bike amongst its siblings to sport it. However, Royal Enfield could offer it in the top trim or as an accessory just like its other models.

Upon close inspection, you can also see that the Super Meteor 650 features the same thick handlebar grips and levers, just like we have seen on the Meteor 350 and the Classic 350. It also gets the rotary switchgear from the 350cc siblings. However, unlike the smaller bikes, this one is finished in silver.

The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 will feature the same 648cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin motor and could make the same performance as its siblings.

We expect the Royal Enfield cruiser to come with a price tag of Rs 3.35 lakh (ex-showroom) which will make it the most expensive bike from this brand. However, it will still be much more affordable than the Kawasaki Vulcan S.
