UPDATE: Bajaj has launched the updated NS200 and the NS160. More about the updated NS200 here. Check out more about the NS160 here.
Bajaj has put up multiple teasers on social media, all of which were based on an ‘upside down’ theme. No points for guessing what this update would be then, eh?
Bajaj is likely to update one of its best-selling bikes, the Pulsar NS200 with an inverted fork. Interestingly, the Brazilian-spec NS200, dubbed as the Dominar 200 already gets an inverted fork. Like it, the Indian-spec NS200 will likely get a 33mm USD fork. In all likelihood, Bajaj will also equip the sportiest Pulsar bike with dual-channel ABS. Given that its smaller sibling, the N160 has it, it’s a no-brainer that the NS200 should too.
Along with these, the brand could also throw in a couple of new colours as the bike’s available in four, rather bland colours as of now. The NS200 currently retails for Rs 1,40,666 (ex-showroom Delhi) for all its colour trims and this update could see a Rs 10,000 increase in the asking price. Despite the hike, the updated NS200 will still be more than Rs 41,000 less expensive than the KTM 200 Duke, while packing almost as much power and the same hardware.
