The 2015 edition of Hannover Messe has associated with India as its official Partner Country. In keeping with the ‘Make in India’ theme Volkswagen India will showcase its products and activities at this industry fair which will be held from April 13-17, 2015 in Hannover, Germany.
Volkswagen has been producing cars at its plant in Chakan which are exported to over 32 countries across three continents of Asia, Africa and North America. The carmaker will showcase one of these products, the Volkswagen Vento, at the Hannover Messe 2015.
Apart from the Vento, a 1.5-litre TDI engine assembled at the recently inaugurated Volkswagen Engine Assembly Plant in Chakan will also be on display at the Volkswagen Pavilion. In addition to these products, the carmaker will also present its educational programme – the Mechatronics Apprenticeship Programme – during the inauguration of the fair with two apprentices and one trainer from the Volkswagen Academy in India.
