The Zonda was originally supposed to reach the end of the line after the track-only Revolucion version unveiled back in mid-2013 but due to popular demand Pagani kept the model alive through a series of unique custom built models. The latest example is known as "ZoZo" and Yusaku Maezaw, founder of Japanese online fashion mall Zozotown from where the car gets its name, ordered it.
The Zonda ZoZo is essentially a brand new car and not an upgraded version of a previously built Zonda. The ZoZo comes in the 760-Zonda spec, which means it packs a whopping 760PS of peak power from its AMG built 7.3-litre engine. We also expect an uprated exhaust system like the ones found on the LH version to be installed on the ZoZo.
The ZoZo even looks quite similar to the Zonda 760LH (Lewis Hamilton) but on the exterior front has a set of extra tail lamps sitting above the standard tail lamps. These are inspired from the early renderings of the Zonda R that date back to 2007. On the ZoZo, the tail lights have been completely blacked out for a stealth look. Although there is no real indication on price, the ZoZo sure must have cost its new owner a pretty penny.
