After introducing BSVI-compliant petrol-powered versions of the Baleno earlier this week, Maruti Suzuki has now hiked the prices of the premium hatchback’s diesel variants. The sporty Baleno RS too has received a price revision. Have a look at the revised prices below.

The premium hatchback was given a BSVI-compliant version of the 1.2-litre K12B petrol engine earlier this week. Along with it, the company also added another BSVI-compliant engine - a 1.2-litre DualJet Smart Hybrid petrol - to the Baleno’s engine lineup. However, the new engine is only available with the lower Delta and Zeta variants of the hatchback. What’s more, it’s only offered with a manual gearbox for now.

Delta Rs 6.36 lakh Rs 7.51 lakh
Zeta Rs 6.97 lakh Rs 8.12 lakh

With the latest price revision, the premium between K-Series petrol and corresponding diesel variants is now back to what it was before. Maruti Suzuki has also announced that it will pull the plug on the 1.3-litre diesel variants of the Baleno in April 2020.
