Updated Bajaj Pulsar N160 To Launch Soon

Bajaj Auto is all set to launch the updated Pulsar N160 in India. The brand recently sent us an invite for the first ride of this upcoming Pulsar, which will take place on August 12, 2026. However, the full launch of this bike is likely to take place in a few days.

Upcoming Bajaj Pulsar N160

For the 2026 version of the Bajaj Pulsar N160, the brand is expected to tweak the design a bit, and introduce some exciting new graphics and colour options. This should give the sporty commuter a fresher look.

Bajaj Auto is also expected to introduce a new iteration of its current 164.82 cc, air-cooled engine. This motor currently uses a 2-valve head, but the new iteration is expected to get a more modern 4-valve head. Currently this engine produces 16 PS at 8,750 rpm and 14.65 Nm at 6,750 rpm. With this transition, the power and torque figures are expected to go up slightly, and the power delivery too is expected to improve. 

Along with these changes, the brand can also introduce a new TFT console. As of now, no other Bajaj bike comes with TFT console, so this could be the very first. It could also get smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth along with turn-by-turn navigation and SMS/call alerts. Overall, this console will very likely make its way to other Bajaj bikes as well.

Upcoming Bajaj Pulsar N160


Currently the pricing for the Bajaj Pulsar N160 starts at Rs 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom), with all the expected updates it could go up to Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will compete with the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V.
