Upcoming Ampere NXG Goes On An Epic Ride From Kashmir To Kanyakumari highlights

We know that the upcoming Ampere NXG will be launching pretty soon, but before that, the EV maker has embarked on a 5,100km journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari with the NXG. The manufacturer says “(it) will not only demonstrate remarkable determination and resilience but also highlight the electric scooter's impressive power, performance, and style”.

Ampere has also shared some details about the electric scooter on its website. First things first, pre-bookings for the electric scooter are now open with a fully refundable token amount of Rs 499. The upcoming scooter gets a large TFT display with multiple display modes and smartphone connectivity with call & SMS alerts, music control and navigation. The scooter will come equipped with 4 riding modes, although the specific modes haven’t been revealed by the EV maker yet.

From when it was spied recently, we know that the scooter has a boxy design with a large floorboard area. The headlight and the taillight are LED units while the single-piece seat looks quite spacious. This could also indicate a fairly large underseat storage space. In addition to that, it gets a front disc brake. 

The upcoming Ampere NXG, called by the EV maker as a high-performance, family-oriented scooter, will be a more premium offering than the Ampere Primus and should fetch a more premium price tag than the Primus’ Rs 1,46,355 (ex-showroom Delhi) sticker price. The NXG could be launched by April 2024.
