The Suzuki e-Burgman has been showcased at the Japan Mobility Show 2023. The electric scooter was revealed by the manufacturer earlier this year and we got to know that it’ll get swappable batteries from Gachaco. It is a consortium created by the four major Japanese manufacturers - Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha and Kawasaki.
The e-Burgman has been used by Suzuki as part of experiments that started in April of this year in Tokyo and are now being done in Osaka as well. The aim of the experiments is to collect critical everyday usability data to further test the electric scooter before entering production.

We already know that the Suzuki e-Burgman will be powered by an AC synchronous motor producing a peak power of 4kW and 18Nm of torque. It’ll have a range of 44km and a seat height of 780mm.
The ICE-powered Suzuki Burgman Street is already on sale in India and we have spied the e-Burgman being tested on Indian roads already. So, it is expected that the Suzuki e-Burgman will come to India in 2024 after it is launched abroad.
