The X series have been teased officially in China

(Update: Harley-Davidson has launched the X 350 in China. Check out what it packs in our launch story.)

We are no stranger to the fact that Harley-Davidson has been working alongside Qiangjiang Motors in China to launch smaller capacity cruisers. Now, the X350 and X500 by the brand's collaborations have been teased for launch in  China.

As per the teaser video, one of the two cruisers, or both, are slated to break cover on March 10, 2023 overseas.

Harley-Davidson’s China-built Platform Inches Closer To Production

In terms of specifications, the X350 will use the QJ Motor’s  353cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine making around 35PS. Leaked documents had also claimed that the bike will weigh about 195kg kerb and will reach top speed of 143kmph.

On the other hand, the X500, is powered by the same 500cc (47.5PS/46Nm) engine as the Benelli TRK 502 ADV, Leoncino 500 scrambler and 502C cruiser. It weighs 207kg kerb, and offers a claimed top speed of 159kmph.

In conclusion, chances of these cruisers on Indian soil are quite slim because H-D and its Indian partner, Hero Motocorp, are working on an India-centric small-capacity bike, which could go up against the likes of the Classic 350, Hunter 350, Meteor 350 and also the Jawa 42.
