The specifications of the upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 350 have been leaked ahead of its August 2022 debut. The leaked type approval documents reveal details about the power figures and dimensions.

The roadster shares the same platform as the Meteor 350 and Classic 350 and is powered by the same 349cc, air-cooled engine. As per the type approval document, the Hunter 350, too, produces 20.2PS at 6100rpm. The torque figures haven’t been revealed; however, we expect them to be the same as the bike’s siblings at 27Nm. It will be paired to a five-speed gearbox.

In terms of dimensions, the Hunter 350 will be the smallest bike in Royal Enfield’s current portfolio. In comparison with the Classic 350, the roadster is shorter height-wise by 35mm, 90mm shorter length-wise and 15mm less wide. Even the wheelbase of the bike is 20mm shorter. This makes the Hunter more compact and this could theoretically result in it boasting better agility and manoeuvrability when compared to its siblings, making it more convenient for city use.

As mentioned in the document, the Hunter 350’s GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight) is 360kg, making it 15kg lighter than the Classic 350’s 375kg GVW. Considering that, the Hunter 350’s kerb weight could be around 180kg, 15kg less than Classic’s 195kg, making it the lightest RE bike. You can check the exact dimensions of the bike in the below image.

The Hunter 350 was spotted testing recently with a bunch of accessories, giving a clearer picture of the design of the bike and more. Click here for a detailed analysis of how the roadster looks and what its features are.

Expect the Royal Enfield 350 to come with a price tag of around Rs 1.70 lakh, making it more affordable than the Classic 350 as well as the Meteor 350. According to our sources, the upcoming roadster will be available in two variants, head here for exclusive details. It will go up against the likes of the Jawa 42 2.1, Honda CB350RS and the upcoming Bajaj-Triumph bike.
