The Korean automaker, Kia, is celebrating its fifth anniversary in India. To mark this milestone, Kia has introduced a new ‘Gravity’ edition of its made-in-India models: the Sonet, Seltos, and Carens. The new edition makes the premium experience of these models more accessible. Let’s explore what the Gravity edition of each of these Kia vehicles has to offer.
The Gravity edition of the Kia Sonet sits above the mid-spec HTK Plus variant. Compared to the standard trim, this special edition features enhancements such as 16-inch alloy wheels and a rear spoiler. Inside, the changes include Indigo Pera seat upholstery with navy stitching and a leatherette-wrapped gear lever. The Sonet Gravity edition is available in Black Pearl and Graphite Matte exterior shades. A distinctive ‘Gravity’ badge on the front doors sets it apart from the regular variants.
In terms of new features, the Sonet Gravity edition gets wireless phone charger, a dash cam, rear seat headrests, rear centre armrest with cup holders, and 60:40 split seats over the HTK Plus variant.
The HTK Plus variant already comes with amenities like an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic AC, a 6-speaker sound system, and push-button start/stop. Its safety features include 6 airbags, rear parking camera, electronic stability control, and rear parking sensors.
Kia is offering the Sonet Gravity with all three powertrain options, but limited to manual variants only. The specifications have been detailed below:

The Gravity edition of the Kia Seltos is positioned above its higher-spec HTX variant. On the outside, this special edition of the Seltos comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, a gloss black rear spoiler, and a ‘Gravity’ badge on the front doors. The Gravity edition of the Seltos is available in three colour options: Glacial White Pearl and Aurora Black Pearl.
On the inside, it additionally comes with a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a premium Bose sound system, dash cam, and ventilated front seats. In terms of safety, it additionally comes with an electronic parking brake over the regular HTX variant.
The HTX variant of the Seltos is already equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, dual-zone AC, and ambient lighting. Its safety kit already includes 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), all-wheel-disc brakes as standard.

However, the Carens Gravity edition offers a more premium experience by additionally offering black leatherette seats, flat bottom steering wheel, and door pads. It also gets a dash cam, a single-pane sunroof, LED map and room lamps. In terms of equipment, the Premium (O) variant of the MPV already comes loaded with features such as an 8-inch touchscreen, a 6-speaker sound system, and steering-mounted audio controls.
