In a recent investor presentation, Hero has announced its plans to launch multiple premium bikes in India ranging from 200cc to 400cc. Here is what we think Hero has planned for us:

Hero is reviving the iconic ‘Karizma’ moniker in a brand new liquid-cooled avatar. Now christened the ‘Karizma XMR 210’, it has been spied multiple times featuring a sharp, fully-faired design. It will be powered by a 210cc liquid-cooled engine that’s expected to make 25PS and 20Nm. 

That is not it–based on the same platform as the Karizma XMR 210, Hero will be launching a naked bike as well. Perhaps the Karizma XR? Time will tell us the answer to that.

In the presentation, the Harley-Davidson X440, which is jointly developed by Hero and the Milwaukee-based manufacturer, was showcased as well. The retro roadster was recently revealed and you can head here for more details on the same.

Hero XPulse 400 And Xtreme 400S Spied Testing

To revamp its brand image, Hero is also working on a sub-450cc liquid-cooled platform. We have already spied the XPulse 400 a bunch of times; however, the launch of the ADV has been pushed to 2024-25. Joining the XPulse in that bracket will be a naked bike based on the same LC platform. Now what that might be is something we are eager to find out. The bikes based on this platform will be a better rival to the Triumph-Bajaj 350 Scrambler and Royal Enfield Hunter 450.

The first premium bike to debut among the ones in the list will be the Harley-Davidson X440, launching on July 3, followed by the Karizma XMR 210, which is expected to be launched in September 2023.
