Ather Teases Instrument Console Of The Upcoming Affordable 450S highlights

Another week and another teaser from Ather about the upcoming 450S. Last week, the manufacturer teased what looked like the instrument console and the e-scooter was also spied testing. Now, in their latest teaser, the instrument console of the 450S is visible in great detail.

The LCD console has a very clean layout with the speedometer and the range both at the centre of the screen. The speed is shown in a big, bold font and the range is shown in numbers and also in a progress bar underneath it. The riding mode is shown at the right side of the console (which also indicates it will have more than one riding mode) while the odometer is at the left-hand side with the home button attached to its side.

The 450S will be the most affordable e-scooter in Ather’s lineup. As such, the LCD instrument console makes sense. The e-scooter will get a smaller 3kWh battery pack (compared to the 3.7kWh battery pack in the 450X) and will have a claimed IDC (Indian Driving Conditions) range of 115km and a top speed of 90kmph.

The Ather 450S will be launched on August 3, 2023. As revealed earlier, the 450S will have an introductory price tag of Rs 1,29,999 (ex-showroom Bangalore including FAME 2 subsidy and excluding state subsidies) and will rival the Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, Ola S1 Air and the Vida V1 Pro.
