If you thought the white wheels on the Pulsar NS200 and the RS200 looked in-your-face, well, then Bajaj has some good news. The bikemaker has ditched them for black wheels now in a similar move as the Pulsar NS160, which too gets black alloys.
The Pulsar NS200 and RS200 continue to retail at the same asking prices of Rs 1,34,195 and Rs 1,64,719 (ex-showroom Delhi), respectively, after having witnessed a nominal hike in February.
The black alloys aside, there have been no other changes to the two motorcycles. The duo has been rather stale, really, with no significant update given in the past couple of years. The 199cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor churns out 24.5PS and 18.5Nm, while the motor continue to be housed in the same perimeter frame with the tautly sprung telescopic fork and monoshock taking care of suspension.
After the revamp of the regular Pulsar series, we hope Bajaj also gives a serious makeover to the NS models. The bikes have been looking the same for nearly a decade now, whereas the competition has taken quite a few giant leaps.
