Quick Highlights:

  • Bajaj Pulsar N125 Launching today

  • Its specs were leaked before the official launch

  • Will be available in two variants and seven colour options

Bajaj is all set to launch the Pulsar N125 in India today. They officially unveiled the bike via their social media channels. Even though Bajaj has not yet officially revealed the specs, they were leaked even before the bike was officially unveiled. The bike will be available in two variants: LED Disc and LED Disc BT. The top-end LED Disc BT variant will get three colour options, which are: Ebony Black/Cocktail Wine Red, Pewter Grey/Citrus Rush and Ebony Black/Purple Fury. The LED Disc variant will be available in four colours: Pearl Metallic White, Ebony Black, Cocktail Wine Red and Caribbean Blue.

From the unveiled video which Bajaj put up on their social media, we can figure out that the Bajaj Pulsar N125 gets an LED headlight surrounded by Z-shaped LED DRL. The tail light is also an LED unit and all indicators are bulb types.

The leaked specs revealed that the Bajaj Pulsar N125 gets a brand new 124.59cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine which makes 12PS at 8,500rpm and 11Nm at 7,000rpm and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. It gets a telescopic fork and a preload-adjustable monoshock. Braking is handled by a 240mm disc at the front while the size of the rear drum brake is yet to be known. It will get 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends. The bike weighs in at 125kg (kerb). The seat height is an accessible 795mm and has a generous ground clearance of 198mm.

In terms of features, the LED Disc BT variant will get a bigger LCD screen compared to the LED Disc variant which gets a smaller LCD screen. The LED Disc BT variant gets Bluetooth connectivity, as the name given to it, and gives essential readouts such as a trip metre , speedometer, fuel-gauge, and a tachometer. The LED Disc variant LCD console misses out on the Bluetooth connectivity.

The official price will be announced later today but, we expect the Pulsar N125 to be priced around the Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom) mark and will go against the likes of TVS Raider 125 and the Hero Xtreme 125R.
