Ola has unveiled a special edition of the Ola S1 Pro, with 24-carat gold plating. This special edition scooter is not for sale and can only be won via special contests organized by the brand. Here’s everything you need to know.

The Ola S1 Pro Sona features a white finish, with gold plated brake levers, foot rest, and pillion grabrail. The scooter also gets a gold-painted telescopic fork and monoshock, and the swingarm. Overall, the scooter manages to come off as a lot more premium than the standard Ola S1 Pro.

The scooter can be won by lucky customers via 3 contests that Ola Electric is organizing. In the first one customers will have to shoot a reel with an Ola S1 Pro. In the second one, customers will have to post a selfie. The last one will be a lucky draw via a digital scratch card.

Other than the addition of the gold plating and special colour scheme, the scooter remains unchanged. It is powered by the same 11kW motor, with a claimed top-speed of 120kmph. It has a claimed range of 195km. Features wise, it offers a 7-inch TFT console with smartphone connectivity and related features. It gets full-fledged navigation, hill hold, and proximity unlock to name a few.

The scooter starts at a price of Rs 1,29,999 (ex-showroom, including subsidies). It goes up against other family-oriented electric scooters in the market such as the Ather Rizta and the TVS iQube.
