Q. Which is best BRV or Terrano?
  • After owning brv for almost 2 years and driving Terrano for a while a year back I can tell you Terrano rides beautifully but the biggest draw backs are really underpowered engine struggles a lot on Highspeed acceleration poor plastic quality and interior quality and got 0 starts in safety ratings,, but when we compare brv to Terrano brv diesel is good not bad but it also struggles with low power but brv petrol is the best the steering feel on the car is superb handling is spot on for a car that big and long there is a little bodyroll compared to Terrano which has no bodyroll, but in brv that body roll is pretty well contained and interior quality is far better than Terrano got 4 stars in safety ratings and is lot more practical than Terrano and that 1.5 vtec engine is just phenomenal ask any one who drives 1.5 litre vtec and they give you positive feedback 0-100 of brv petrol is 10.18 seconds and 0-100 of diesel brv is 13.6 seconds and 0-100 of Terrano diesel is 14 seconds and compared to Terrano brv has lot more features
  • There is no comparison between BRV and Terrano. Firstly, BRV is a seven-seater C-SUV with heart and mind of a sedan, whereas Terrano is a five-seater C-SUV. Secondly, BRV scores high on its versatility and convenience with space while Terrano goes better with its strong looks. As a buyer, you have to identify your need - a 5-seat or a 7-seat vehicle? If 7-seater, then BRV, at its price point, is one of the best, rather the best choice available in the market today.
  • Dear Sanjeev, Please avoid the Nissan Terrano. It's an outdated product. Since you don't need seven seats, even BRV does not seem like a right fit. You can look at fully loaded variants of the Ford EcoSport instead. That should suit your requirement well. Please let me know if you've got any more questions.

Q. We are planning for long drive trip around 500-550 km, there are 7 adults normal size and 2 kids of 6 years. Kindly confirm considering the long drive, BRV is fine and safer?
  • Definitely. the kids can easily relax at the back.. even you can consider 1 avg adult sitting at the back with an older child, there shouldn't be any complaints for comfort. this is from my personal experience. I am not which variant you are considering for a long drive, but I would recommend a petrol version. the engine is butter smooth. Suspension is decent. consider 3rd row experience same as innova on rough roads. leg room is pretty decent as well. hope I have answered your question. happy travel
  • Yes easily, but you cant adjust 7 adults and 2 children comfortably but 5 adults and 3 kids can sit comfortably and In terms of safety brb got 4 stars high speed stability at 160 kmh is flat as it can get handling and acceleration is brilliant too and i have done 1200 km in a day with 6 adults and 2 kids and maintaining the top speed of 130kmh + on the highway without any fuss and no one was uncomfortable during that journey
  • Cramped is my answer rest is upto u how well you can accommodate the excess number of passengers. For seven adults still it's fine. Depends on the road conditions too. Besides for 9 people there will be hardly any space left for luggage then. All the best. Update your review once back from the trip.

Q. Please advice, which one is good to buy BRV petrol or Hyundai Creta and why?
  • See, sir in terms of drive-ability, handling and acceleration Honda brv petrol is the best car on offer but if you need boring petrol, okaish handling but decent amount of features then Hyundai creta petrol is a good option. But in Hyundai creta to get all the features you must opt for the top model which is expensive, but in brv you can opt for base model which has all the safety features abs, ebd, airbags etc and get a touchscreen infotainment system zleather seats armrest from the dealership optional for the price marginally less than the mid trim creta petrol, and Honda brv petrol has better mileage than creta petrol, brv petrol on highway I got 16.7 kml and creta on highway. I have managed to get 14kml not bad but brv did it better and I was averaging 120kmh on both cars for 60km, creta has bigger boot but brv has 7 seats which unlike other 7 seater you can actually use them all for full sized adults but yes creta feels a bit more premium than brv not just in terms of looks ambit as well as the interior has good quality too, brv has decent interior quality not as good as creta. If you don't need a car for 7 passengers than creta is a better option but if you love acceleration and good highway performance then I would suggest go for 1.6 litre diesel because petrol engines of hyundai are boring and ill performed compared to brvs petrol engine which is just the best.
  • Honda BRV - the ultimate choice for a great car. Simply because it is versatile, safe, comfortable and fuel-efficient. Creta is just for overpriced looks, gadgetry and unnecessary road presence.
  • If your opting for petrol then nothing can beat brv 1.5 litre vtec engine powerfull punchy 0-100 kmh in 10 seconds and the car has great handling too, but if your looking for diesel options than nothing can beat cretas 1.6 litre diesel powerfull and punchy 0-100 kmh also in 10 seconds, yes the handling of creta isn't great but decent
