a man's basic need

I love my electric Bajaj chetak scooter . It provides me 80-100 kilometers on a single charge, which is sufficient for most city rides . The riding position is comfortable, with a well-padded seat and good space for the legs . The top speed is electronically limited to 85 km/h. The Chetak can comfortably ride at 50-60 km/h, with a top speed of 85 km/h. It has occasional issues. Maintenance costs are generally lower compared to petrol scooters. The only problem is that it is has reported occasional service center issues.

Chetak electric

1.4

Chetak electric had initially piqued my interest as a promising addition to the electric scooter market. However, My experience with it has been far from satisfactory, Prompting me to reconsider recommending it to others.Despite its sleek design, The scooter falls short in terms of practicality. Its minimal features pale in comparison to its competitors, Rendering it less functional for daily use.The exorbitant price tag further undermines its value proposition. The most alarming aspect of my chetak electric experience has been its after-sales service, Which has been a continuous source of frustration.I purchased two of these scooters for my parents, Hoping for a hastle-free ownership experience.Unfortunately, A recurring issue with the auxiliary battery, Responsible for controlling the electronics, Has plagued both the vehicles. When this battery fails, The scooter becomes virtually unusable: the steering locks up, The boot refuses to open, Rendering the entire vehicle inert. This has occurred twice within just six months of purchase, And the service center has failed to offer a definitive solution. The lack of a reliable fox for such a critical issue is deeply concerning. It leaves owners stranded and unable to use their vehicles, Defeating the purpose of owning a mode of transportation meant to simplify commuting. In conclusion, Potential buyers should exercise a caution and thoroughly reconsider before investing in chetak.

My old Suzuki Swish completed

My old suzuki swish completed 12 years of excellent service.Wanted to replace with equally reliable vehicle.Went ahead with chetak as it is from bajaj, A reliable two wheeler company.1.Purchase - they claim that it's fully online process which is not.Need to visit nearby showroom for payment.Delivery took longer than expected.2.Usage : driven @1000km in 2 months.Overall build quality is excellent.Smooth riding.Good replacement for activa/swish type vehicles.Does not have any fancy gadgets, Which are not required any way.No issue so far.3.App - very bad app.Paid @1800 for a year.Does not provide much info. Also do not update many times.Completely waste of money.Looks like bajaj has forgotten about this app.No even a single update in 2 months.4.Service - in app they show nearby service location.I enquired at showroom and they told me about a service location near my home. This is not visible on app (?).Service was basic first service. When asked about connected app they replied that "they have no information, Idea, About app. They do not service that"so overall happy with vehicle but not happy at all with app. Also service can be improved.Their website provide very little information.User manual is in app.Very difficult to read and find info. Not searchable.

I am bajaj chetak user from

I am bajaj chetak user from last 5 month bajaj chetak build quality is amazing but there service and policies are worst they have created lot of nonsense way to take money from customer like they don't provide main stand and take money for number plate casing like plastic, Metal else they just fix aluminium number plate which bends easily they if you buy bajaj urban modal its a bad experience to user because all advance features like reverse mode, Hill hold, Eco and sports mode everything get removed within one month and they try to convince you to buy tech pack which cost 8000 for 5 year's they have baddest services since i take a bajaj i have visited 3 time but not a single time they take my scooter in every time they just give excuses like no man power, No space, Now they are asking for take appointment its very frustrated and in my experience its charging is like unpredictable like sometime they show 95 sometime 75 in full charging and drain's alot you cant make trust if you are trying to run it for 60 km because it never work at that level it's very frustrating and sometimes it's behave weird like just show alert and its doesn't start

Rediscovering Elegance

The Bajaj Chetak, reinvented as an e-scooter, merges retro vibes with a green outlook. Among the pros of this model are its attractive design, durable construction, comfort, convenient drive, low operation costs and service support from the Bajaj service center. The TecPac variant adds further functionality. While you have already read the pros of such transport, the following could be considered cons of such transport: limited standard range (90-100 km), lower top speed (70 km/h), higher price, lack of fast charging, limited storage, and missing features such as ABS and regenerative braking. The bike as a whole works well for commuting in a city and its range and speed as well as price may affect some in its appeal joining the buying selection.

This vehicle is a piece of

This vehicle is a piece of crap, I request my fellow indians, Not to buy this vehicle. In last 3 months more than half of the time, My vehicle was in service center and more than half of the components were replaced due to their failure. Its been a painful journey.I have noticed atleast 40-50 vehicles piled up everytime i go to service center for similar issues.Mc, Onboard charger, Auxillary battery and even motor, These are all commonly failed components.

Driving chetak

I have been driving chetak for a year and a half now, It is the most comfortable scooter i have ever driven, Smooth pickup, Company claims to have the range of 90 km in one full charge but i found it slightly less even when driven in eco mode. The servicing of bajaj is very convenient. The only bad thing about the chetak is it has very less boot space.
