  • Facelifted Venue to get an updated grille, alloy wheels, and tail lamps.
  • Inside, it could get a larger infotainment system and digital driver’s display.
  • Other notable features include climate control, sunroof, and up to six airbags.
  • The Venue will remain mechanically unchanged.

Images of the facelifted Hyundai Venue have surfaced online for the first time ahead of its official debut. This will be the first major update for Hyundai’s sub-4 metre SUV, which was globally unveiled back in May 2019

While the design of the headlamps and indicators seem to be the same as before, the facelifted Venue will boast a new front grille to keep things fresh. Other styling updates that can be seen in the images are the new alloy wheels and split LED tail lamps. No major changes to the sheet metal are expected.

Though the interior of the facelifted Venue is yet to be seen, we suspect it to get improved features like a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, and digital driver’s display. It could also come with updated upholstery and colours to give it a breath of fresh air.

Other creature comforts that will be on offer include a sunroof, cruise control, wireless phone charger, a multi-info display, and keyless entry with push button start. Passenger safety should be taken care of by six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors with camera, and electronic stability control.

The facelifted Venue will continue to utilise the 83PS 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 120PS 1-litre turbo-petrol, and 100PS 1.5-litre 1.5-litre diesel engine options as before. All engines come paired with a manual gearbox (clutchless in the turbo-petrol) while the 7-speed DCT is limited to the turbo-petrol motor. Like the Sonet, Hyundai could offer the diesel engine with a 6-speed torque converter.

Hyundai is likely to take the wraps off the facelifted Venue soon. When it comes to India, the SUV will face competition from the Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger.
