The India-bound Suzuki Ignis and facelifted SX4 S-Cross will make their debut at the Paris Mondial de l’Automobile.

Suzuki Ignis

The European production version of Suzuki’s new compact crossover, the Ignis will make its debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. Along with it, other Maruti Suzuki cars that will be on display are the SX4 S-Cross facelift, Vitara Brezza, Jimny, Baleno, and the Cervo. The Paris Mondial de l’Automobile will be open to the press on September 29th and 30th, and for the public it will be open from October 1st to 16th, 2016.

The Ignis concept was showcased at the 2016 Indian Auto Expo earlier this year, along with the Baleno RS. The carmaker had said that the Ignis will be hitting Indian shores around the upcoming festive season, but now it is looking like there might be some delay in the launch of this car. The reasons being that Suzuki has already said that the Ignis will go on sale from January 2017 in Europe, hence chances are that it will be exported to Europe first from India, just like the Baleno.

The S-Cross facelift, which is also known as the SX4 S-Cross in Europe, made its debut a few days ago. This car will also be displayed at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. Suzuki has completely redesigned the front fascia of the crossover which now comes with two new Boosterjet turbo petrol engines (1.0-litre and the 1.4-litre). These new motors will be replacing the old 1.6-litre unit in this car.
